April 10 2019 - FINISHED - FORWARD TO THE TOWN COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL

Solar Energy Systems – Revised Draft. Proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance to accommodate solar energy systems as accessory uses and principal uses. The Planning Board is discussing a revised draft of the ordinance that was presented for a public hearing on September 12, September 26, and October 10 including public comments that were submitted (The public hearing is closed).

Barbara Dill prepared the attached video and noted, “Some of the installations shown include elaborate landscaping, but most of them are simply set in a natural landscape, particularly the ones that combine solar systems with agriculture. All of them appear to be sited with care for both maximum solar collection and visual appearance.”
