How to Monitor a Conservation Easement

The Town of Durham is responsible for monitoring a handful of conservation easements. Volunteers are welcome to assist the Conservation Commission and Land Stewardship Coordinator in the annual monitoring. It is a great way to get outside in the woods, learn how to read property deeds and surveys, and how to use a compass, among other skills.
