Milne Sanctuary Clean-up Day on Saturday May 17, 8:30 to 11am
Dear Durham neighbors,
The Land Stewardship Subcommittee needs your help at the Milne Sanctuary!
Join us Saturday May 17th, 8:30am to 11am to spread wood chips on pathways, clean up the garden beds and remove some invasive plants (garlic mustard, buckthorn, multiflora rose and honeysuckle).
Even an hour of your time would be very helpful to get this beautiful property ready for the summer!
What you should bring/ wear/ expect:
-Long pants and sleeves, gloves,
-Sturdy shoes or boots,
-Sunscreen/ bug spray,
-Plenty of water !
-A rake, pruning shears or loppers.
We will provide weed wrenchers and trash bags.
All are welcome, kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please park along Mill Pond Road or at the Town Hall Parking Lot, only 0.2mile from the Milne Sanctuary.
