The Town of Durham is managing several properties under the guidance of consulting forester Charlie Moreno, with a goal of restoring and maintaining healthy forests on the properties. Healthy forests support the compliment of native vegetation, have minimal or no invasive plants, provide wildlife habitat, protect water quality, and offer trails and other outdoor recreational amenities.
