Report a Trail Issue

Trails on Durham conservation areas often rely on volunteers to help with stewardship. Volunteer help is appreciated for the following issues:

  • pick up trash (carry in/carry out)
  • move small branches or limbs off trails
  • avoid eroded areas, especially along rivers and streams
  • keep dogs on leash/under control and pick up dog waste
  • respect other trail users

If you observe bigger issues that require more assistance, please contact the Durham Land Stewardship Coordinator or call the Department of Public Works (DPW) at: 603-868-5578. This includes:

  • tree removal that requires a chain saw (volunteers should not use chain saws)
  • large debris (trees or trash)
  • unauthorized uses

Thanks for your help and enjoy the trails!
