Small Town, Big Oil: The Untold Story of the Women Who Took on the Richest Man in the World - and Won

The Durham Public Library welcomes author David W. Moore to speak on his new book Small Town, Big Oil: The Untold Story of the Women Who Took on the Richest Man in the World — and Won. This book is a narrative account of the women who led the citizens of Durham, in the 1970s, to protect their community from billionaire Aristotle Onassis and big oil. Two of the women featured in the book, Dudley Dudley and Nancy Sandberg will join Moore in speaking at this event!
