VIII.    52 Oyster River Road – Regrading of site.  Permitted Use B for regrading of site for new single-family house including removal of vegetation in Shoreland Protection Overlay District (SPOD).  Ted and Christina Baker, property owners.  Alex Ross, Ross Engineering, engineer. Stephen Meade, contractor.  Map 6, Lot 7-4.  Residence A Zone.  7:20 to 7:35 pm

IX.       Durham Point Road – New Driveway.  Conditional Use Application for driveway to cross wetland buffer for new single-family house.  Located catty corner to the Durham Transfer Station.  The lot shares a driveway with 101 Durham Point Road.  Karon Walker and Peter Howd, property owners.  Scott Boudreau, surveyor.  Map 11, Lot 38-2.  Residence Coastal Zone.  7:35 to 7:50 pm

X.        22 Cedar Point Road – Replacement of Dock.  Nonbinding comments to New Hampshire Division of Environmental Services about proposal to replace an existing dock at 22 Cedar Point Road.  Aaron and Jill Grueter, property owners.  Steven Riker, wetland scientist, Ambit Engineering.  Map 12, Lot 1-19.  Residence Coastal Zone.  7:50 to 8:00 pm

XI.      190 Piscataqua Road – Installation of Wells.  Permitted Use B application for installation of a drinking well and eight geothermal wells within the Wetland Conservation Overlay District.  Tom and Erin Daly, property owner.  Eric Buck, Terrain Planning & Design. Map 12, Lot 7. Residence Coastal District.  8:00 to 8:15 pm

XII.     Land Stewardship. Tom Brightman, Land Stewardship Coordinator.  Funding request for $500 for volunteer supplies and request to sponsor program on invasive species management.  8:15 TO 8:25 pm

XIII.    UNH and Town Greenways.  Discussion with Stephen Eisenhaure, UNH Land Use Coordinator, about ways to connect UNH and Town greenways.  8:25 to 9:25 pm

XIV.    Other Business

Members of the public may provide input on any matter before the commission in one of two ways:

1)   Email.  Send an email to Michael Behrendt, Town Planner, at mbehrendt@ci.durham.nh.us  by 12:00 noon on the day of the meeting (You can also mail, drop off, or fax a letter);

2)   Speak at the meetingThe public is welcome to speak about any specific agenda item when that item comes up on the agenda and about any other appropriate subject during Public Comments time.  You can attend in person or participate via Zoom (See instructions below).

IMPORTANT!

  1. Please be sure your full name is viewable, and you are identifiable when using Zoom.
  2. Your video will be turned off and audio muted until the Public portion of the meeting opens.
  3. If watching on Channel 22 or DCAT LiveStream be sure your computer/TV audio is muted when using Zoom.​

These are LIVE Public meetings and we ask that your audio and video be muted.  If not, the host will mute them for you.  You will not be able to communicate directly with anyone in the Zoom meeting at this time.  Participants will have the opportunity to comment during Public Comments, or when a Public Hearing is opened.  We ask that you mute your audio and video after you've commented, if not, the host will mute them for you.  If you wish to submit comments for public input, please submit them via email by 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting.

PUBLIC INPUT INSTRUCTIONS: Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, the Town of Durham will be taking extra steps to allow for public input during public meetings while still ensuring participant safety and social distancing. Per Executive Order by Governor Sununu, scheduled gatherings of 10 or more people will be prohibited. Therefore, those wishing to share comments are required to do so via email by 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting.
