VII.     10 Cedar Point Road Dock Replacement.  Providing comments to NHDES about an application under Wetlands Permit-by-Notification for a dock replacement.  Half acre lot situated on Little Bay.  Bruce and Ellen Bates, property owner.  Steve Riker, Ambit Engineering, designer.  Map 12, Lot 2-13.  7:30 pm

VIII.    Public Hearing – Proposed contribution toward acquisition of Pike Property.  Proposed contribution of $35,000 from the Durham Conservation Fund toward the acquisition of the Pike Property.  The 37.4 acre lot would be owned by the Town and placed into conservation with an easement held by the Southeast Land Trust (SELT).  Grants secured by SELT would pay the remainder of the purchase price.  The parcel is located on Wednesday Hill Road just east of Thompson Forest.  Map 14, Lot 10-2.  8:00 pm

IX.       Land Stewardship. Tom Brightman, Land Stewardship Coordinator.   8:10 pm.

X.        Mill Plaza Wetland Buffer.  Revisiting the earlier recommendation from the Conservation Commission about the wetland buffer under the Wetland Conservation Overlay District for Mill Plaza.  Colonial Durham Associates, property owner.  7 Mill Road.  Map 5, Lot 1-1  9:10 pm

XI.       Mill Pond Dam.  Revisiting the earlier recommendation from the Conservation Commission about the Mill Pond dam.  9:25 pm

*Note that times listed after each agenda item are estimates for when the item may be finished but the commission will take more or less time as needed.

This meeting of the Conservation Commission will be conducted in Council Chambers.  A quorum must be physically present in order to hold the meeting.  Individual commission members may participate via zoom provided special procedures are followed.

Members of the public may provide input on any matter before the commission in one of two ways:

1)   Email.  Send an email to Michael Behrendt, Town Planner, at mbehrendt@ci.durham.nh.us   

       by 12:00 noon on the day of the meeting (You can also mail or fax a letter);

2)   Speak at the meeting.  The public is welcome to speak about any specific agenda item when that item comes up on the agenda and about any other appropriate subject during Public Comments time.  You can attend in person or participate via Zoom (See instructions below).

These are LIVE Public meetings and we ask that your audio and video be muted.  If not, the host will mute them for you.  You will not be able to communicate directly with anyone in the Zoom meeting at this time.  Participants will have the opportunity to comment during Public Comments, or when a Public Hearing is opened.  We ask that you mute your audio and video after you've commented, if not, the host will mute them for you.  If you wish to submit comments for public input, please submit them via email by 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting.

PUBLIC INPUT INSTRUCTIONS: Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, the Town of Durham will be taking extra steps to allow for public input during public meetings while still ensuring participant safety and social distancing. Per Executive Order by Governor Sununu, scheduled gatherings of 10 or more people will be prohibited. Therefore, those wishing to share comments are required to do so via email by 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting.
