Please provide a brief paragraph explaining your interest in being elected to the position for which you are running.

I am running for reelection as Durham’s Town Clerk–Tax Collector to continue serving residents with fairness, professionalism, and transparency. I am a strong advocate for voting rights and have testified before the New Hampshire Senate in opposition to legislation that could limit voter access. Along with my clerk staff team, I successfully manage the collection of over $42 million in municipal revenue each year, with an approximate 90% collection rate for property taxes. I am committed to the efficient, accurate management of the Town Clerk–Tax Collector’s Office, supporting staff, and responsibly stewarding public resources. With a long history of service to Durham and the Oyster River School Community, I am dedicated to helping residents understand elections, tax collection, motor vehicle registrations, and vital records—while ensuring all community members feel respected and informed.
