Education:      B.A.-University of New Hampshire

                      J.D.-Stetson University College of Law

Occupation:  Attorney

Years as Durham Resident:  24

Previous Service on Governmental/Community/Civic Boards, Commissions, Committees, or Organizations:  Locally I have served as an Alternate on Library Board of Trustees and several committees, member of SHARPP Advisory Board at University of New Hampshire, Town of Durham election volunteer in numerous capacities, House Manager and volunteer for Seacoast Repertory Theatre, volunteer with Rain for the Sahel and Sahara, Organizing for Action and Seacoast Women’s Network.

Reason for Interest in Running for Elected Office:  I have seen our town library grow from a few rooms at the UNH Dimond Library to a downtown storefront and now to the modern facility meeting many needs of our entire community. Serving for many years with the Library Trustees, looking at sites for a new library and then working with the Capital Campaign Committee and the Get Out the Vote effort on the library bond issue, I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to see this project literally built from the ground up. Circulation and programming has increased dramatically at the new building and the various community meeting rooms are providing much needed space for residents to gather.  I would be privileged to serve on the Board to help carry on the mission of the current Trustees and dedicated staff.
