I previously lived in Canton, NY where I was on the Canton Central School Board for 13 years, 5 as president; Canton Village Board for 9 years, 4 years as Mayor. I have been on the Durham Public Library Board for the last 5 years, as an alternate trustee from 2014-16 and then as an elected trustee from 2016-19. I have been Vice Chair of the board for the last three years.
Reason for Interest in Running for Elected Office:
The town's public library is at the heart of the community and an invaluable resource. I have learned a lot during my five years on the board and would like to continue serving as trustee.
