Durham Public Works Traffic/Construction Advisory – Madbury Road between Emerson Road and Edgewood Road

Please be advised that Madbury Road between Emerson Road and Edgewood Road will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning Thursday, April 23rd, and potentially continuing into the morning of Friday, April 24th. This temporary measure will allow for required construction activity in both the north and southbound lanes during this period.

During this time, all northbound and southbound traffic will be detoured via Emerson Road and Edgewood Road. Clearly marked signage will be in place to guide motorists along the detour route.

Access to homes and driveways within the closure area will remain available for local traffic, deliveries, school buses, and emergency vehicles only.
