durham town hall to be closed Friday (2/25/22) due to anticipated snow event

Dear Members of the Durham Community,

A winter storm warning is in effect from 1 AM Friday to 1 AM EST Saturday. Heavy snow is expected. Total snow accumulations between 8 and 12 inches throughout portions of southwest and western Maine and central, northern, and southern New Hampshire.

The potential exists for snowfall rates of greater than 1 inch per hour from Friday morning through the early evening hours. Travel could be very difficult due to low visibility and snow covered roads. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

As such, the Durham Town Hall will be closed on Friday, 2/25/22. The Durham Public Library will also be closed.
