The Board may *catch* these, but I think it worth pointing them out, particularly since, primarily, they concern the public, the Design Guidelines Committee, or the Town Council. ONE Would you please again ask the applicant to state why there are no plans for additional plantings along Route 4, per your request? Thank you. (Screenshots of relevant portions of the document are attached below each query.) TWO Second, under Landscaping, you asked about parking. WHO is the public referenced here? Visitors to the facility's residents? If users of the paths, doesn't it seem unlikely that six spaces would be needed? THREE Stormwater management: Again, missing a response to whether April Talon has provided feedback: FOUR Ditto, regarding acknowledgment/likelihood of receiving Pernaw's traffic study report by the November 4 meeting: FIVE Public access—I believe it is important that the details be presented prior to the public hearing for both the public and the Durham Business Park Design Guidelines committee to review (and provide comment to the Board). Does John understand that the details must be decided within this timeframe? If this cannot be accomplished , then it would seem to me that a another public hearing should be held when those details are finalized. SIX The applicant has not responded -- at least in this document -- to your question about Council requests: SEVEN Finally, I agree completely with Beth Olshansky about the color of the barn. HOW can a prominent large red barn be considered to comply with the Design Guidelines? Couldn't it be natural shingles or cedar clapboard, i.e., something that would weather and blend in more with the landscape? A classic *Old MacDonald* barn simply does not make sense on this site within view of the beautiful Johnson Creek/Oyster River vistas, let along in juxtaposition with the style of the primary structures. Thank you in advance for your attention to these details. — Robin Robin Mower Durham, NH 03824 * * * From: Michael Behrendt Sent: Friday, October 30, 2015 5:58 PM To: Andrea Bodo (afbodo@comcast.net); Ann Welsh; April Talon; external forward for cforcey; Corey Landry; David Kurz; Jim Rice; John Powers; Karen Edwards; Mary Ellen Humphrey; Michael Behrendt; Michael Lynch; Peter Stanhope; Rene Kelley; RMower; Todd Selig; Tom Johnson Cc: Mike Sievert (mikesievert@mjs-engineering.com); J Randolph Subject: Harmony Homes - updated plans * To the TRG, We have updated plans for Harmony Homes. See the attached plans, a memo from the applicant responding to numerous comments that I sent them, test pit logs (in response to my question whether permeable pavement is practical), and proposed conditions for the conservation easement. Please review the updated plans carefully. Harmony Homes is coming to the TRG on November 10 to review the plans. Per my earlier email I am asking for signoffs from staff members that same week. There is a public hearing with the board on November 4. I will have draft conditions for the Planning Board on November 18, and then if all is in order, we are tentatively looking at final action by the board on December 9. To the staff, feel free to contact Mike Sievert directly with any questions or concerns. Thank you.
