Subject: Madbury Common indoor bicycle parking

Dear Mr. Behrendt and Ms. Edwards,

Please let the planning board know before their next meeting that I oppose the 
proposal of the management of Madbury Commons to relocate the indoor bicycle 
parking from a ground floor location to a location requiring the students to use an 
elevator to store and retrieve their bicycles. This proposition works against our 
town's current effort to encourage students to use bicycles instead of motor 
vehicles to get around town and campus. We should make bike use convenient. 
Please hold Madbury Commons to the current plan of ground-level bike storage 
for their tenants.
