I am concerned that the proposed signage for 49 Main Street is out of character with the beautiful projection signage that exists on the businesses across the street from it. I would hope that you would encourage the use of projection signs with their unique business logos…. easier to see and more inviting for pedestrians. They reflect the personality of the downtown and are eye catching for those driving by. The Mill Rd side of #49 Main will be the beautifully designed BICENTENNIAL PARK with historic artifacts, elegant trees and a place for quiet reflection. If signage is to be on that side of the building, I would recommend a narrow matte board with computer engraved graphics that would enhance that viewscape visible to everyone coming down from UNH or walking up Mill Rd. Thank you for your consideration, Regards, Andrea Bodo 20 Newmarket Rd Durham
