Thank you, Kim Clark-Lecturer Peter T. Paul School of Business and Economics paulcollege.unh.edu To: Durham Planning Board members From: Kim Clark Date: Wednesday February 11th, 2015 Dear planning board members, I am writing in support of Eric Chinburg and the plan to build an eldercare facility in the Durham business park location. The Durham business park has an ideal location for this type of property. I understand that some are concerned with views, and sprawl and other such worries that tend to be voiced. I share this concern on many projects, however this simply is not one of them. We have an aging population. The waitlist at River woods in Exeter is over a year for some apartments and up to five year for others. The demand is certainly present. Chinburg builders are known for projects that are in keeping with the climate and culture of a community. The restoration of the mill in Newmarket is one such example. Our business was located in this mill and I can attest to the quality of work, and more important to the care taken to preserve the culture of the building. I urge you to consider the long time positive economic impact a project such as this can have on our community. Please support this important project. Sincerely, Kimberly Clark Durham NH
