Membership vacancies on Conservation Commission

The Town of Durham New Hampshire

Want to protect wildlife habitat or water resources?

Enjoy workdays in the woods, building trails or clearing invasive species? The Conservation Commission welcomes volunteers with expertise in natural resource areas. Check it out: Attend a meeting or contact the Chair (see below).

The Conservation Commission has several vacancies, since members stepped down due to increased professional responsibilities.

If you are interested in joining the Commission or working on one of our projects, please join us at one of our upcoming meetings, typically the second Tuesday of the month starting at 3:30 p.m. In the Durham Town Council Chambers. Relevant expertise, enthusiasm, and willingness to pitch in are all welcome. Occasionally members participate on site walks to view properties on which activities relevant to the Commission may take place. Photographs from some of those site walks may be viewed in the slideshow below.

An application may be downloaded from below or obtained through the Town Administrator's office by phoning Jennie Berry at 603-868-5571 or contacting her by email.

To contact the Chair of the Conservation Commission, please send an email to dcc@ci.durham.nh.us
