Electrical Codes

The 2011 National Electrical Code is the currently adopted electrical code for the State of New Hampshire. The 2011 NEC has been signed into law, effective as of July 1st 2011 as the State adopted Electrical Code and should be used for all design standards and installations. The code can be purchased through NFiPA NEC at www.nfpa.org, 1-800-344-3555, or for reference at the Durham Public Library. Electrical permits are required for all work and can be obtained in Durham Town Hall, M-F 8am to 5pm
