(AP) Adams Point Wildlife Area -- 80 Acres (State)
Site: Fields, woodlands, tidal marsh and bay
Trails: Perimeter trails
Boating: All types from Great Bay boat ramp (tide dependent)
Picnicking: No tables. Several benches.
Note: N.H. Fish and Game Reserve. Monument in memory of Adams family. Site of UNH Jackson Estuarine Lab. Unique stone bench on southeast tip.

(CP) Cedar Point -- 1.5 acres (Town and State)
Site: Tidal river, bay
Boating: All types in Little Bay and Bellamy River from ramp at end of Cedar Point Road
Picnicking: No facilities
Note: Historical marker at intersection of Rt. 4 and Cedar Point Rd. indicating the former site of a bridge to Newington via Goat Island.

(CM) Colby Marsh -- 15 acres (Town)
Site: Beaver Pond, wildlife area. Abuts Langmaid Farm.
Note: Access via old woods road going off to the right just after the locked gate at the eastern end of Longmarsh (Langmaid) road. The road peters out before reaching the edge of the pond.

(CW) College Woods -- 240 acres (UNH)
Site: Reservoir, freshwater river, woodlands, natural area
Trails: Approximately 3-4 miles of well maintained trails, other trails are intermittent
Picnicking: No facilities
Access: On south side of Main St, 500 feet east of Mast Rd. or behind field house from service Rd. to Ocean Engineering Building on north side of Mill Road 300 feet west of rail road tracks
Parking: None formal. Park at Field House or other UNH parking areas.

(DF) Doe Farm -- 80 acres (Town)
Site: Fresh water river, woodlands, wetlands
Trails: Class VI entrance road, 0.5 mile; two miles of additional trails
Boating: Limited to canoes and rowboats -- no ramp, launching difficult: 0.5 mile portage required
Picnicking: Picnic tables available
Access: Sign at parking area. Follow railroad ROW south to trails.
Parking: Located south side of Bennett Rd., just east of the railroad tracks.
Note: Site includes Moat Island to the southeast in the Lamprey River.

(EF) East Foss Farm -- 165 acres (UNH)
Site: Field, woodlands, wetlands
Trails: 1.7 mile loop including a Class VI entrance road. Various side trails of varying quality diverge from this road, including one that leads down to upper Mill Pond.

(HC) Horsehide Creek -- 50 Acres (Town landfill lot and Johnson lot)
Site: Woodlands, marsh, solid fill (bordering the Town Landfill), steep slopes on west bank of Horsehide Creek.
Trails: A previously existing Boy Scout loop trail from Longmarsh Road has been flooded at its northern extremity by beaver activity. There are two access points from Longmarsh Road: the first is an old road leading into an old meadow and the second is an old road a few hundred yards beyond this. Both entry points are to the left if one enters Longmarsh Road from the west.

(JL) Jackson's Landing -- 4.5 acres (Town)
Site: Tidal river and marsh
Boating: Ramp access for all boats; tide dependent for motorized boats. Boat shed and dock shared by Town and UNH.
Picnicking: Table and benches at playground.
Note: Town operates both a playground for small children and a covered ice skating rink.

(LR) Langmaid (Longmarsh) Road -- 46 acres (Town)
Site: This is a Class VI road approximately one mile in length. There are views in both directions of woodlands (some owned by the Nature Conservancy), two major beaver ponds (the eastern one has inundated the road), and views of both Colby Marsh and the beaver dam on Horsehide Creek.
Trails: The eastern and western ends of the road are marked by locked gates. A number of interesting side trails begin on the road, including those mentioned in the Horsehide Creek and Colby Marsh descriptions. In addition, there is an additional trail beginning at the eastern end of the Horsehide Creek beaver dam along an old road which eventually peters out but continues as a rough trail to meet with Dame Road. This trail is much used by mountain bikers. A number of other short trails connect this trail to Longmarsh Road, one of which leads past the beaver dam that constitutes Colby Marsh.

(ML) MacDonald Lot -- 78 acres (Town)
Site: Field, woodlands, wetlands
Trails: Trail leading from upper Mill Pond to East Foss Farm loop. A number of other trails diverge from this at various points.

(MP) Mill Pond -- (Town)
Site: Freshwater pond and marsh
Boating: Limited to canoes and rowboats: no ramps. Launching difficult
Picnicking: Benches and tables

(OR) Old Reservoir -- 155 acres (UNH)
Site: Managed woodlands, freshwater pond and marsh
Trail: Approximately one mile
Picnicking: No facilities

(OL) Oyster River Landing -- 3 acres (Town)
Site: Tidal river and marsh.
Boating: Limited to canoes, kayaks and rowboats; no ramp; dock provides access to boats moored in Oyster River
Picnicking: Tables and benches
Note: Information posted describes the area when the landing was a center of activity in the 1800s.

(OP) Oyster River Park -- 4.5 acres (Town)
Site: Mowed fields; woodlands along river
Trails: 0.4 mile along river

(PF) Packer's Falls -- 3 acres (Town)
Site: Freshwater river with falls
Trails: 0.4 mile along Lamprey River and through woods
Boating: Limited to canoes, kayaks and rowboats: no ramp: launching downstream of falls

(SS) Stolworthy Wildlife Sanctuary -- 3.5 acres (Town)
Site: Woodland behind Middle School playground
Trails: Less than 1 mile
Access: East side of Middle School parking lot.
Parking: Use Middle School parking lot on east side of building

(TF) Thompson Farm -- 219 acres (UNH)
Site: Woodlands, field
Trails: One mile trail connects with West Foss Farm.

(WH) Wagon Hill Farm -- 139 acres (Town)
Site: Woodlands, fields, tidal marsh and bay. Main area is south of Route 4. An undeveloped "40 Acre" portion lies north of Route 4.
Trails: Perimeter and other trails. Rough trail through northern part of the Farm connects with Rt. 108 at the Evangelical Church via Watson, Jenkins and Old Dover Rds.
Boating: No ramp. Carry-on launching access 0.5 mile from parking lot
Picnicking: Picnic tables. Portable toilet at parking lot (Seasonal)

(WF) West Foss Farm -- 93 acres (UNH)
Site: Woodland and pasture
Trails: 2 mile loop with entrance off Mill Road. 1.3 mile trail connects with Thompson Farm

(WD) Wiswall Dam -- 2.5 acres (Town)
Site: Freshwater river and woodlands
Boating: Limited to canoes and rowboats. Launch upstream of dam
Picnicking: Tables
